TZANEEN POLICE OFFICER RELEASE A HIP-HOP SINGLE

LITSITELE- A 36- year old Police Officer attached to Tzaneen police station released his derby hip hop single called a push, grind and hustle earlier this year.

Gashford Nyadani has been chasing his dream of being a rapper for the past 14 years before he became a police officer.

Nyadani affectionately known as Blaqtown in music circles started his music career in 2006 before joining the police force in 2007, and yet his music career does not interfere with his work as he manages to juggle both.

‘’I always respect both jobs, when am on duty as a police officer I only focus on my police work and when am off I concentrate on my music career’’.

"With the kind of job that I am doing, music brings me peace of mind and that inspires me to sing about everyday life experiences"

Nyadani who grew up in a family where everybody can sing said he was inspired by the likes of Amukelani N’wakoti known as Mchangani a Xitsonga rapper.

‘’I sing in Xitsonga because I want the language to be valued like other languages ’he added.

Nyadani says he doesn’t have an album out yet but he has produced a lot of songs and people should listen to his single titled PGH (Push Grind and Hustle).

The song is already getting airplay on Metro FM and it was on the list of the songs that were voted to play on Absolute Hip-Hop show hosted  DJ Speedsta.
